Among my best friends, I only have one girl friend that is still single up to now. She is already on her late 30s now and she still does not have any boyfriend. On our 20s, we have been trying to pair her to our other boy friends. But it does not work. She does not like to have a relationship with our boy friends other than friendship. So that gives us the idea to look for her pair somewhere else. We have tried to avail of the dating service which was recommended by another friend. At that time, establishing of friendship is still through letters sent through the post office. It is a bit conservative and primitive in those days. She had a few pen-friends referred by the dating service agency. At first she is enthusiastic in writing friendly letters to them. She chooses three guys, Richard from California, Lyndon from Canada, and Jason from Australia. She replies promptly and corresponds accordingly. But later, it is either she was the one who stop replying or the other way around, her friendship with those three foreign guys fade out. We tried to ask her for the reason of those friendship endings. She told us that along their exchange of correspondence she discovered something on Richard’s past that she cannot accept, while an annoying attitude on Lyndon which turns her off, and as for Jason she does not know what happened to him. He simply did not write or reply anymore. After that failed friendships, we usually introduce her to some acquaintances from time to time. She actually got passionate in one of the seaman that she met in one of the conference she attended. She works in our Municipal Planning wherein she often attends seminars out of town. But that was just a brief encounter because when they separate ways after the occasion, there was no follow-up meeting. That makes us to try again to look for a good dating service. This time it is online on the Internet. This technology gives a lot of options to friend-seekers. You can choose the nationality, the age, and even his exact location. You may actually visualize your friend in real-time through web cam. Thus, you may choose easily among those you met on the chat rooms. There are plenty of web sites now that offer dating service. As of now she has no sign of progress on any relationship. Probably it is simply her preference to stay single. She seems happy anyway. It is us who are more eager for her to have a partner. She seems contended with her status now. We will simply have to wait and see.

I just love rainy season as i am very crazy about going out in rain. I still remember those rain day's when i used to run around with my classmates spilling water on them and getting scolded at home for making my dress dirty. It was all fun and those sweet day's are already gone now !Now, i am in first year of my college life and life has changed a lot as i don't even get that much time to play around because of other priorities in life like studies, extra curricular activities like getting ready for college debate events, Public speking etc. I am very good in talking and obviously many females too get attracted to me very fast. I always go home around 6.00-6.30 p.m in the evening . Then i have coffee and watch T.V for some time and then i sit for studying. Later again for relaxation, i browse the internet for 30 minutes or so. But lately, i started spending more time on browsing after i was introduced to a dating site by one of my online friends. He was spending around 2-3 hours daily on a dating site and he explained me well on how exciting it is to stay on a dating site and how nice it is to be friends with beautiful girls from other parts of the world. This motivated me to get registered to a dating site and i also started spending more time there and made some good friends there. I am almost 40 years old and I am really getting tired of this whole dating scene. If things had gone right with at least one of the guys I have dated by now I would be someones wife and I would probably even have a few kids already. As things stand though, I am still alone living in the city and with nothing to really show for it, no real close friends no boyfriend and not even any boyfriend prospects anywhere in sight. After six months of separation from my wife, I began to realise that our marriage was over, we were no longer a couple and we were not going to get back together again. Part of this was accepting that she had found someone else and was now making a success of her new relationship. Me and my boyfriend just hit a new milestone in our relationship. We decided it was time for me go move in with him at his house. I was living in a little studio apartment, that didn't have anything in it. No couch, no many dishes, just the bare essentials. So when he came over to my place, I felt bad for him because he would have to sit on the floor. For a bed, I had one of those air mattresses. It was comfortable but not as comfortable as a real bed. Dating free over the Internet is a wonderful thing. I used to think that is was not real dating and that everyone on the site were just scammers or just looking for someone to sleep with for one night and that would be it. But as I started to try the dating free sites I realised that it is not that way at all. Some of the guys on the sites are very lovable and completely adorable. You can really find someone really nice to spend timewith some of the most popular dating free sites. Now, if your looking for your soul mate on these sites, it isn't unheard of, but it can get a littledaunting sometimes because you usually have to spend a lot time on getting to know each and every person that you meet. I have never really been in to all the dating websites. I have seen so many around on the internet but i have never really thought that they actually work. I would rather go out and meet a woman and if we like each other then see how it goes from there, it either works or it doesn't. I always dreamed of having a brief encounter with my possible first love at a speed dating table with only the candle light between us. Speed dating has always been a hobby of mine. I do it more out of habit than I do for the fun of it anymore. Once I met a struggling actor from New York City. He told me all about his attempts at making his big break on stage. He had traveled all across the United States and had been to several European countries. He was such a treat. Another time I met a man who had been married and divorced seven times and had one child from each marriage. I was more than a little bit intimidated by that fact but he proved to be a very nice fellow. Our courtship, however, only lasted a mere five minutes. That was all it took to figure out that we really had nothing we needed to make a lasting relationship. Then there was the time I met a bull rider. For whatever reason it really amused him to tell me all about the numerous injuries he has acquired since starting his bull riding career. He also proceeded to show me his most recent scars. I must say that I was extremely happy when that date was over. After meeting characters like that you would think that I would have found my first and only true love by now. Maybe not. A girl can dream about it. I have actually benefited a great deal from speed dating. I have made some great connections with people whom I can add to my professional network. I have gotten a few extra perks from my job because of it. I have also made a few really good friends that I see from time to time. Tim and Mandy had been going out for almost a decade. They were both in their 40's and were thinking about getting married. So far, they had been in a dating free relationship. This wasn't for any particular reason - more because when they were both always too tired after work to go out for a meal, and their weekends were taken up entertaining their 2 young children. Sometimes I actually do feel like a nun, after all what else do you call a girl who stays home every night while all her friends are going out and dating as many guys as possible? It's not that I don't like dating and having fun, it's more like I don't do it because I never get asked out. I have a friend that has been looking for a boyfriend that she can cuddle and laugh with, and just have a nice relationship with someone that she might eventually maybe marry someday. I tell her that there are ways to meet men other than going to the bar and picking up losers. I'm not saying that everyone that you would pick up at a bar would be a loser, it's just not the best way tomeet somebody for a lasting, meaningful relationship. Sure you could have a lot of passion and fun with these potential dates, but is it practical? It just seems more logical to find different ways to meet someone that you could possibly spend the rest of your life with.
